Still have threadgill on there.
I was at the University City Sam’s Club yesterday. They had one Niner hoodie and six different Johnson C. Smith t-shirts. Rather strange considering JCSU is small private college and UNC Charlotte is less than a mile away with thousands of students.
They normally keep a bunch of stuff for both schools at the beginning of the school year. Maybe the Charlotte stuff hasn’t all come in yet? I’ve bought a bunch of Charlotte gear there in the past
Can I pick an order up at your location?
I gotta say, I took half day off to clear my head. I thought I’ll ride out and checkout the campus store for gold stuff. Why did we bother with this? There were 6-8 jersey shirts that would be tents on me and some women’s shirts. Outside of that it was mostly sweats it seems.
I stopped by dicks and academy on the way home. There was next nothing at all for charlotte, much less anything gold.
It was thoroughly disappointing at Dicks and Academy considering this is the start of football season.
Walmart and Target sometimes have our gear as well. It’s definitely hard to come by even near campus.
I’ve seen some gold T-Shirts/polos at Wal-Mart over the years, might be slim pickings before this one though.
Saw some gold Ts at Walmart at Galleria on Monroe Road a week ago. Didn’t care for them, so I passed. I’m very picky about what’s printed on them and how they’re formatted.
This was a promotional failure in epic proportions. I have been to multiple sporting events with less notice that somehow figure out how to have a bunch of low budget t shirts at tables when you enter for free to get the desired effect. As for this debacle, when they panned the stadium, I bet the gold shirt quotient was at best 15%. Can you imagine what a CF it would be if they ever tried to do one of those alternating color sections with only 15K? Just a true testament to the quagmire (gigity) we are in and it ain’t getting any better. They were so concerned at this game and the ECU game to have too much purple in the seats, they forgot what was their core focus. Bummer. And not surprising.
What do they say the definition of insanity is…
Asking out of ignorance but isn’t it customary to put said color tee shirts on the seats?
Bonus points for the quagmire reference.
My nephew started school this fall. He told me he didn’t have a gold shirt to wear. I told him to go by the bookstore, that surely they’ll run a promotion for gold tshirts, to make some easy money. Sigh…It’s honestly f’ing embarrassing.
YES.
The only way to have a successful “White/Black/Gold Out” is to have a sponsor buy 15,000 t-shirts and place them on each seat. Otherwise, these will always fail. Can we just stop doing them?
