               The [URL=http://www.bizjournals.com/search/bin/search?q=%22University%20of%20North%20Carolina%20at%20Charlotte%22&t=triangle]University of North Carolina at Charlotte[/URL]'s new School of Law has appointed a former chief justice of the [URL=http://www.bizjournals.com/search/bin/search?q=%22North%20Carolina%20Supreme%20Court%22&t=triangle]North Carolina Supreme Court[/URL] to its board of trustees.

Burley Mitchell, who headed the state’s high court until 1999, will serve a four-year term on the school’s board, UNCC officials announced Tuesday.
