You might want to recheck Dayton, they get excellent coverage, including email from the Daily News on Dayton athletics.

And George Washington as well. Right now the Post’s college page is all football. If you click on the “complete local college sports” link you’ll find this…

The saddest thing here is that ones that don’t get great coverage in the A10 are in cities where there are multiple teams. The closest schools we compete for coverage with are 2 hours away. Heck, same city, they are 5 counties between us.

UR gets coverage from The Free Lance Star as well (obviously not as heavily as RTD does).

www.fredericksburg.com

They always have the box score and AP write up, and for bigger games usually do a little more.

And coverage beyond Men’s Basketball. We spend a lot of time complaining about lack of coverage of our Men’s team, but in reality it’s a total lack of coverage of all of our athletic teams and their accomplishments.

HOLY s***.

The *** **** Bonnies of Olean, NY get better ****** ******’ coverage in Buffalo, NY than the Charlotte 49ers get in Charlotte, NC.

That is damn pathetic.

Charlotte Observer? YOU SUCK.

Don’t even get me started on sports besides Mens hoops.

Or you could have just gone to this already existing NNN sticky for this: A-10 Men’s Basketball Links

Great thread Metro. This thread contains some stuff some of us have known for years.

I thought perhaps it might just be a McClatchy thing since they own the Observer but none of the other newspapers listed in this thread. So I sauntered over to kansas.com and see that the Witchita Eagle (another McClatchy newspaper) has pages for Wichita State, Kansas and Kansas State.

Edit: Same with The Herald (Rock Hill). They have a Winthrop page. Ouch. Serious, serious ouch.

i don’t know why you bumped this. some of our fans will never figure it out. even when the proof is right in front of their eyes. or maybe they don’t want to see it.

So… um… are we going to complain about it here or are we going to write the O?
