NFL news (non-Panthers)

Insane. $40 mil/yr for a middle tier QB.

For that kind of money I can hand the ball off and throw passes to the other team too.

I just need to let you guys know that I will not be pursuing Lamar Jackson

$64,000,000 against the cap for 3 straight years.

Wow.

Report: Falcons’ Lindstrom signs record 5-year, $105M extension

$21 Million a year for a Guard??

How does these deals make any sense?

The Cap is $224.8 million, which seems like a lot until you divide it by 53 players, or $4.24 million average.

Even if you give 67% of it to your 22 starters, that is still only $6.84 million each. And with QBs easily demanding 4,5, and apparently as much as almost 10x that amount… How does paying an OG $21.5 million work? How do you field a team?

Dude… as Panthers fans let the Falcons pay a Guard 21 million, hopefully they suck for years! :joy:

Report: 49ers signing Darnold to 1-year deal

Dang I guess this means we are throwing whoever our QB we draft into the fire first week, really thought it would be good to bring Darnold back for one year like the 49ers are doing, I guess there wasn’t any interest on our end.

Hmm…

If I was Aaron Rogers, I would make sure Giselle is on that list

Yeah, I was excited when Cam came back, dropped some cash on seeing him, and it was terrible and very sad. I would bet you cash that Bret Favre could show up at Auburn and make Cam look silly. It’s not how he can throw in March, it’s how well can he throw after a few games of hits. It’s like the league figured Cam out, he lost his acceleration and his big arm became softer and more erratic, all about the same time. Not For Long NFL
