Need a catcher now
Andrew Grande is from Christ School in Arden, NC. Arden is south of Asheville.
The Plumlee brothers attended there. Their athletic teams are nicknamed the Greenies, so Andrew should have some green shirts, jackets, and hats.

Probably looking in the portal or JUCO for a catcher. We have some good freshman coming in but they probably need a little time to develop defensively. Maybe add another pitcher, but I think we’ve added 6 arms since the season ended.
Casciola has 23 Ks and 5 Walks this summer.

Just landed a Catcher from the portal, Kaden Hopson. Was the backup catcher at Arizona last year and played some in the College World Series.

Sounds like a great addition.
Big time addition at the catcher’s position. He sat behind an All American at Arizona last year. The biggest thing he brings to the table is on the defensive side. He’s played in a Super Regional and in Omaha. Great experience to add to our team.
With Hopson, Tyndall, & Wathan, the future looks bright behind the plate.

Really like the Kaden addition. Our D1 transfers from last year did very well.
