I’m pretty sure home basketball games will be offered via webcast. Makes sense in conjunction with the video scoreboard. If the other A-10 teams are also on Yahoo, we could be able to see every home and away game. Anyone know what other A-10 teams are webcasting through Yahoo?

Fans can subscribe to all 49ers webcasts for just $4.95 per month or to Yahoo! Sports’ entire College Package for $9.95 per month. Links to Yahoo! are available at Charlotte49ers.com. Once subscribed, fans can access webcasts directly from schedule listings at Charlotte49ers.com.

Now that would be worth $10/ month to get to watch the game. Paying to listen to it was not. My DSL should be hooked up and running by then, so maybe I’ll get to see all of the games. I’ll just have to learn to not scream for them to show the replay when I think the officials made a bad call.

you wont need the replay to know that the official made a bad call

Who was it that we played last year on the road, that had the really cool live feed set up? It wasn’t through Yahoo and it wasn’t the greatest quality but it was a pretty sweet feed. UMASS maybe? Wish we could do something like that. I believe it was setup/ran by the school.

Not always, but usually to confirm that it was bad.

That was UMass. It was low bitrate & resolution, but it still looked pretty decent. It was just hard to read some of the player names from the remote camera angles.

If $10/mo for 3-4 mos gets me all of our road games on a good quality video feed over the net, I’ll gladly pay it. Forget being a homer, that’s not a bad deal at all.

So the home games will be broadcasted, but will the away games be shown? Thats what really matters to me, bc Ill be at all the home games

Chisox, the other schools control that. We need to determine if our away opponents are webcasting on Yahoo.
