Niners Get First 2006 Commitment

Hey guys we’ve got some breaking news for you.

Charlotte got its first commitment for the class of 2006 from 6-1 point guard Carlos Williams out of Wabash Valley college.

Yep that’s Antwon and Jerrell’s school too, and this kid is a player!

JJ, is he in the 2006 or 2005 class? Scout.com lists him in 2005; just curious.

i think he just finished his first season there. so it would be the 2006-2007 season

It said he transfered in to the JC, was he at a 4 year school for a year ?

Sounds like a true PG - i don’t think i will know what to do with myself if we get a true PG to run the offense (transition/pass/drive). Mitchell will be tough to replace. Goldwire will have to really work. If Carlos can really shoot - he could play the 2 spot the first little bit.
