I remember Drayton well at Bonner when I went to go see VG play. I left the game really not understanding the hype about VG and thinking Drayton was the better all around player. Unfortunately, the game I saw Drayton’s shorts drawstring broke OR he was just way too skinny that he played the whole game with one hand holding on to his shorts. He still managed to score 20pts or so with mid-range and inside presence. VG scores 20+ by just driving to the hoop almost out of control… he’d make the shot or get fouled… his outside shot was way off.

Bonus coverage. Soccer team gets a nice write-up. Two home games remain (Depaul sat 10/30 & Davidson Friday 11/5).
49er Friday: Charlotte soccer turns season around
Also ranked #4 in Carolinas top 10. I’ve enjoyed Scott’s Friday college soccer feature.
Will Simon be teaching that course?
It sounds almost as easy as Harrick Jr’s exercise science class at UGa.
I think Drayton is the wild card this season, if he lives up to the hype I expect good things…wonder if clay will make a guest apparence in that class
