So who all is going to the game on Thursday night? I know Iām ready for some Niner basketball! I just wish that we werenāt playing against a team that causes me to have so many mixed emotions.
Everyone knows that I love my Niners, but this game does create quite a conflict for me. The problem is this: JCSU is located on Beatties Ford Rd. It just so happens that two of my favorite actors are Warren and Ned Beatty. Can you believe it? Warren has been in so many awesome movies and Nedās performance in Deliverance is just classic.
So you see my problem. I just hope that I have the strength to stay the course and cheer for the Niners and not the Golden Bulls.
Iām torn too Closet Fan. Iāve been reminiscing over a memorable (or what I do remember of it) of a Halloween night on campus chugging Schlitz Malt Liquor. Seems that someone decided to blow up a wooden foot bridge between Moore/Sanford and Holshouser/Scott that I somehow āsleptā through. Iāve not touched The Bull since.
I guess Iāll have to go with the Normās Pale Ale for this game.
Iām also torn. They told me it was āYour Town, Your Teamā but which team is my town?
Iām looking forward to seeing the guys in action tomorrow night. Iāve heard that JCSU is pretty excited and I expect them to bring a few folks over to Halton. It might turn out to be a nice atmosphere. Especially for an exhibition.
JCSU is ranked 15th nationally for DII. Theyāre a pretty big deal in the black community in Charlotte, so I imagine the turnout for this will be much better than we typically get with Pfeiffer.
A co worker of mine has a daughter at JCSU. She said they have sent out emails to the students to take over our gym and wear the JCSU school colors. It seems like they are pretty hyped about the game.

Thats fine. There will be plenty of room for them in Belk Gym.
First game with the new students is always the worst. Nobody knows where to go, what line they are in, that they had to request/claim/print a ticket. Usually makes for a mess. Plus the fact that the student ticketing had issues this week.
If this year is anything like last year, the game can likely be found on http://channelsurfing.net
There is no tv for this game.
Can the game be watched on CBS College Sports All Access via the internet?
It is has that listed as watch on the 49er website schedule. Is that accurate? Dont want to pay to sign up and its a dud.
That will work. That is where the channelsurfing.net stream comes from. If you go with channelsurfing, youāre placing your faith in someone else having the stream set up, itās not a guarantee. By signing up, youāre helping out the school. If everyone relied on channelsurfing, the ability to watch online would go away entirely because it wouldnāt be profitable for the school.
