Thatās a great picture, notice you and the felts are mid laugh, but Coach isnāt⦠mustāve been an inside joke.
Normbulance at the Greek event from Alumniās FB page. That big white roof might look cool with a C-pick or C-49ERS⦠not sure how often itād be visible tho.

90% chance that it will be - thinking about the lot UP from where we were - so instead of $25 bucks its $20 to save a few bucks. That is the lot directly accross from Picassos. Should know for certain tonight.

I took my son and his cousin to check out the Normbulance (parked in front of the Alumni house) on the way to the NCAA Soccer First round tournament. What will be next? A nice set of horn blasting the Fight Song? Norm picture air brush on the side? The kids absolutely love it. Great job NinerWupAss, Normbulance is the coolest.
I have all the decals on the way which should really change the look. Once those are on I will start finalizing where some lettering is going and itās sizes. Also need to get Feltisā fridge to put in it. That will most likely be it until spring/summer. On the list:
Fix exhaust leak
Install TVs
Install bar
Install tap
Install new/recovered seats
Install roof top deck
Swap generator for battery bank
Not in that order - but gives you an idea where this is headed.

Let me know if I could help better the Normbulance before 2013.
Can I ask for how much and where you got the ambulance from? And how much is the insurance? Did they ask questions when you told them it was an old ambulance.
Only sugestion would be to put more green on the box. The logos might do this, Iāll have to see it after but looks great.

Some of the lettering will be in green. The drivers side box is going to have the seal in black but I hear you on the green. Will keep adding to it to keep the green level up and I plan on some gold lettering as well. I am also going to add a dry erase sheet of vinyl so we can write shit about whoever we are playing - so that will add some green.
I had been looking for an ambulance for a long time, really starting with the chancellor saying yes. My budget was $4500 because I figured I would spend another $1500 on stuff. So I wanted to keep the whole thing under $6k. I looked at places like ambulancetrader.com and ebay. My main problem was all of the ones in my range were high mileage (as in 200,000 plus) and the interior was really worn.
So on craigslist I found this one in Raleigh. I manged to get it for 5k which while slightly higher than my budget but it has under 50k miles and the interior (aside from the seats) was in in excellet condition. Also helped that it had fairly new tires and a few green lights! This deal was far better than anything else I had found and have seen since.
The vehicle is classified as a Chevrolet 3500 Pick-Up. When the VIN is run it returns as a modified Chevrolet 3500. For insurace purposes they view it as a pick-up so it isnāt bad. I pay $40 a month for insurace, but that is with a multi vehicle discount. I mentioned it was an ambulance - but they just go by whatever their computer says.
The big benefit with this vehilce is it is just a Chevy truck so there are plenty or parts for it and they are relatively easy to find. Also having a truck front end vs. a van means it is easier to get into the engine compartment and work on it.
So there you have it! The next year and a half will be fun!!
What was the reasoning behind asking? Do you need ADās permission to put the logo and stuff all over it?
Interesting about the insurance info.[/quote]
Ah nah I mean I started looking for them when the chancellor said yes to football. I wasnāt going to buy one and then have him veto the whole thing.
I did run into problems with decals though because companies wouldnāt make them based on the TM and I didnāt want to jump through hoops to get permission. We donāt have anything at FatHead or any other large decals. I have a friend in MD that has the tools to make it and is doing it for me at no cost.
