North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Pregame

There’s a game on Saturday, so let’s have a thread about it. Wouldn’t surprise me if they brought a decent amount of fans.

It will be on WCCB too.

The Aggies are 3-10. Hopefully we come out ready to play and take care of business in our last OOC game. At the end of the week, the Niners should be sitting at 9-4.

We have common opponents with Ga Tech and ECU.

Ga Tech beat them 78-71

ECU beat them 84-71

They have not won a road game all season. Let’s keep that trend going.

Judging from games in Halton the past couple of seasons… If they bring a “good number” of fans, they may have as many fans there as we do since our students are not back yet. We need to show up and protect our turf… uh, hardwood.

The majority of their scoring comes from two Sr guards and a 6-7 sophomore F. They only have 3 wins. Both D1 wins came from sub 300 RPI teams and they have 1 DII win. We need to come out and take charge of this game.

I’m actually glad we are playing this game. Our next opponent, UTEP, will have waited 11 days between games.

It is A&T, so people are not going to get pumped, but we can make this a statement game. ECU beat them by 13. We need to win by twice that. We will see your Lebo and raise you.

Win by 26? I won’t hold my breath.

Looking forward to see what we talk about in the post game thread.

We are 6-0 against the Aggies and 3 of the wins were by more than 30. In 2003 we beat them by 63…102-39. I don’t remember that game, but wow!

I remember that game, I was at that game - we had an offense that could score.

I remember that game… I don’t think I had ever seen a beating like that in person before.

The South Carolina and Miami games in 2000 are the best two game stretch at home I think we have ever played. Total domination of those teams. Up by 40 on USC and up 30 on Miami at points during the game. Watching us struggle to score the past 5 years is hard to remember we used to be able to pile on points in a hurry.

I remember that game. We had just lost our home opener to GW to begin the “Martin Iti Era” and I guess we took out our frustrations on the Aggies.

Attendance, 6317 on a Monday night.

2) Oh man, we should have won by 15 more
3) What the Hell was Major thinking
4) Henry is becoming a cancer
5) Slowfool’s mouth foaming ravings

From what I can see Major’s largest margin of victory in his time here was a 23 pt win in 2011-2012. So yeah a 26 pt victory while possible I wouldn’t say I expect it.

I still can’t decide if I want to go to the game. I probably will though.

I wish we could have a “get the frustrations out” game, but that doesn’t happen under Major. As was just stated, our largest victory has been by 23 pts apparently. We always come out and play just a bit better than crappy teams, but not as good as we can play so it becomes what I call a “feel good” game.
