I know of a high school or 2 that call themselves the Vikings, and they are located over 200 miles from the ocean.

This complaint has always bugged me. Most of the time it’s the traits of a particular character/animal that you want to embody. How far were the Trojans from Southern California? Many Tigers in Alabama? How about elephants? Tigers in South Carolina or Missouri? I don’t of any such thing as a biliken or a hoya. Many rams in Richmond, these days? How about lions in Norfolk? There are a ton of Griffins in Williamsburg, Virginia.

I agree, I did a quick search of whitepages.com and found 94 Griffins in Williamsburg 8)
