I did get ahead of myself on this one. I’m into C-USA 3.0 mode, but need to remember that it doesn’t actually become a reality until July 1, 2013!

C-USA loses another as Arsalan Kazemi of Rice is leaving as well. The 3-time all-conference forward is said to be considering Kentucky and Oregon, with Cincinnati, Florida, Ohio State and Texas also in the mix. Prepped at Patterson in Lenoir, but not sure if we recruited him or not. Anyway, of the 6 players to leave Rice since the end of last season, he was definitely the team’s best player.

That was a huge loss. He ended up going to Oregon. Rice had players transfer to Oregon, Villianova, USC, Rhodes Island, and Valpo.
