I actually have not seen the new DVD. Is it as amazing as the CD? Although I saw them live at Amos’ a couple months ago. For sure it was a violent pit surrounded by 14 y/o girls who were there for Emery (not knocking Emery…its my secret love). BTW they come back November 17th…I’m super stoked!
I have never been on last.fm. I was just looking through it a bit. Is it just to share and hear new music? that is what I’ve gathered from the brief look I gave so far.
This guy is still around? He used to play Boardwalk Billy’s for $5 covers and do acoustic for free at RJ Gators circa 2001.
Yup I have been a fan of SL for a long ass time. He is from Belmont. He is still around and still playing - 10/15 he is playing at a bar in Belmont that I will be at. A side trivia note - his older brother is Migjen Bakali from Belmont who was one of Valvano’s last recruits at NCSU. Played a few pick up games with him and have never played a guy with a quicker or smoother release from beyond the arc and I have played against Henry Williams, Dinkins, Rod Howard and a few other Niners known for shooting. Of course shooting from beyond the arc is the ONLY thing he could do.
I listen to the '80’s Music Choice channel on Cable TV.
In the car I listen to 99.7. It’s classic rock from '70’s & '80’s.
Holy shit that’s awesome! About damn time we got a classic rock station around here!
This song has a nice trippy vibe, but I must say, Bradford Cox was co-DJing on SiriusXMU the other day with Jenny Eliscu, and he was annoying as hell. Dunno if he was using and completely out of it, but he babbled every non answer to Jenny’s imploring questions… drove me nuts and left me with a very bad impression of him.
And BTW, kinda off topic - but the indie rock in commercials thread is gone - I had notcied this and its annoying as hell too:

I really want to see them live. I haven’t been to a show yet, but I can tell the show is awesome
