Now that we have a stadium, staff and schedule...........

On to more important things!!!

The UNIFORMS!!! ;D

I know we’re a ā€œNikeā€ school but I’d rather we went with UnderArmour. Wonder if we are tied to Nike or if we can take football in another direction.

Not exactly the ā€œDenverā€ pattern but pretty close. I liked it when it came out but that was 15 years ago.

Basketball uses Nike, baseball uses Under Armour.

I think these are the major players in the market. If we do go with Nike I hope its the Pro Combat style. Who does Wake use? Bet Lambert goes with that company with his hair on fire!

Wake uses Nike

lol… If you look closely, he has 5 Nike logos visible on his uniform. geez

What do you guys prefer? Simple, traditional style uniforms (basically almost all green), or more modern ones with fancy designs?

I perfer something modern. We’re a modern University with a forward attitude. Leave the old stuff to the old schools.

Haha someone struck a nerve.

You’re such an elitist.

I like the classic style, but our logo and our kind of ā€˜rebellious’ nature remind me of the new kid on the block. Modern and clean is the style I would like to see after all.

This. We don’t need USFL style crap. We need to be traditional but modern. Like much of our campus - you arch guys I know have a name for it, but the retro modern look is what I think we should go for.

I bet ol’ CHP is going to request that we honor our mothership by using the same jerseys as UNC-CH, except with some green piping.

Don’t know if it means we have anything in place with them or not but in the playground video with Major and Lambert. Coach Lambert was wearing a UA Charlotte football shirt. I was hoping we would go with UA so this is probably me just being optimistic.

I hope we go with Under Armor as well, but Lambert was also wearing a Nike hat. 8)

Maryland, South Carolina, and Auburn are 3 schools I can think of with UA unis.

I think its a best-bid situation unless Lambert or Judy has a predispostion toward 1 brand.

I like these USF Under Armor unis for road unis. Would be something nice to go by.

I don’t dislike that UA design for USF, but…can’t put my figner on it but it’s just not quite right for us.

clt would like for Pony to provide our gear.

I’m a big fan of the classic look - Bama, Penn State, etc… but that’s because they’re really clean.

I’m fine with a more ā€œprogressiveā€ look, but still keep it clean… I think the jerseys that everybody wore today are absolutely hideous.

I see myself as an opportunist… saw one and took it.
