MSP today was picking on the Sorensen/Brock rift.
And like I said before, criticize when deserved but give credit when earned. He was a title contender when he fought in his hometown and it got very little coverage. That was the beef with that.
And if put on the spot, 99 of 100 people couldn’t tell you who he fought. No one outside this messageboard cared about that fight because at that point, Brock had fought a bunch of “Glass Joe’s.” This is the first fight that (and the time leading up to it) that is worthy of more coverage and the Observer is handling it accordingly.
Tom will pick Klitschko and you can’t really blame him. On paper, this is almost a mismatch. If I placed a bet with my heart, I’d go with Brock but common sense says to take the champ.

He beat Alex Gonzalez Saturday night by decision. He was on the card of the Briggs fight and would have stepped in against Ibragminov if Briggs backed out. There was speculation Briggs would not fight. Instead he fought the other guy after the main event. Hmmm. I’ll try to find the link. This was his second bout after the title fight. He still only has one loss.
