Observer doesn't hush

This I find mildly amusing, the Observer reports on the first John to be prosecuted in the Hush Hush prostitution ring…a cardiologist from Raleigh…but give details in their report of the one famous john that many around town know of and all but scream his name out.

Some of Saxon's other clients may be targeted for prosecution next.

“Johns are under investigation,” one source said. “I know some of the johns have hired lawyers.”

Federal authorities have videotape of Saxon’s clients entering and exiting hotels and meeting with prostitutes in the lobbies. On Aug. 1, 2006, authorities watched a Saxon client, identified as “S.B,” leaving Room 106 of the Residence Inn on J.A. Jones Drive in SouthPark, 2007 court documents say. A prostitute left the room a short time later.

S.B. was followed into the parking lot and observed entering and driving off in a white Mercedes SUV,” the documents say.

not just a white SUV but a mercedes…hint, hint…

I’m sure “S.B.” is just thrilled the Observer included this part again in this story. I think its going to take alot of money to avoid prosecution for “S.B.”, if I was Bruton Smith and Sonic Automotive I’d take the “B” part of the business he bought not too long ago and change the name for marketing/PR purposes, asap.

wonder if there is any chance that any of the athletes caught in this ring will be able to fly under the radar because they are celebrities, while our cardiologist get taken down?

I don’t think any of the Johns should be exposed or prosecuted. None were caught in the act. All they have is circumstantial evidence, & the testimony of someone who’s trying to keep themselve out of jail.
Unless you’re caught in the act, it legally didn’t happen!

Does that include burglary, hit-and-run, rape, murder, etc. as well?

So if someone breaks into your home, vandalizes everything, rapes your wife/daughter, and leaves and was never ‘caught in the act’ by authorities, they shouldn’t be arrested, despite mountains of evidence?

Edit: looks like Run beat me to it

what is really wrong with having a legal cat house? is it really that bad? other countries have them.
Who the hell is S.B.?
connect the dots with what I bolded, or find some other charlotte news forumns somewhere, he’s the one guy whose name i’ve heard several times connected to this. see here : link

SCK, think its possible that the johns and the hookers may have just been having a friendly chat, playing a board game or something else innocent? perhaps its a book club they are all members of…then again, instead of prostitution maybe they were doing something else illegal like plotting a terrorist hit on the queen city. We’ll never know…

sank in after my post, and then I saw the shoutbox.

I am as conservative as they come…

but I don’t understand why we prosecute pimps or johns. If a guy can’t get lucky with the ladies, but has a few hundreds in his pocket and the female is willing, whats the big deal??

Isn’t that what most hot chicks do anyway?..once you are over 25, she knows your salary, 401k, car type, and neighborhood before knockin any boots.

^ bingo

I was talking about hookers & madams trying to save themselves, not ordinary citizens that were attacked.
Way to tell the difference guys?

Way to tell the difference guys?

I have no idea how to answer that question.

Metro, nice post.

It’s ridiculous how many specific references the O has made to “SB”, with as much info as possible to identify him, without actually naming him, since the whole story broke months ago. Someone at the O must have a vendetta against him, because my guess is that there are much more significant names on “the list” that are more newsworthy. This is a guy honored for his charitable giving, who has done much for the community, and has not lectured or legislated about moral issues.

If and when the full list is publicized, it will be a much more legitimate story to profile an attorney, judge, prosecutor, legislator, etc, who has made statements or taken a hypocritical position on prostitution, and then patronized Hush-Hush themselves. Meanwhile, they are tearing down a guy with innuendo, repeated in every story they’ve written.

Does he deserve a free ride? No, but he doesn’t deserve to be singled out like this, while they ignore much bigger fish.

Bill Brasky banged hookers by the dozen, and they paid him.

You’re digging your hole deeper, SCK. Learn when to shut up. Idiot.

Where is uncommon-niner when we need him? <—proper use of a question mark, for SCK.

Fine.
Whatever.

Vendetta or maybe someone is trying to bribe him to keep his name out of the news on this like the sports stars we’ll probably not hear about probably. only thing I can figure, its not like they can’t run a story naming the guy, but the repeated references, makes you wonder… and today’s story was suppose to be about the Raleigh Dr.

Maybe they are jealous he got to play golf with MJ and Tiger last year.

Maybe they should open up a free brothel to get around the prostitution laws. They could have free sex, & charge you $200 an hour to talk to the girl. LOL. That would be pretty funny, & the cops couldn’t do anything.

is that not the essence of the escort service? or for that matter an expensive martini bar?
