MARY SCHULKEN, why do you never put your name on the same regurgitated rhetoric on the student fee?

Your paper is a joke Mike.

The one-sided business does get really old. Let’s write an opinion and not put our name(s) on it. So maybe that’s the way they work, but to read the same thing over and over makes me sick.

WTF? Can we not go one day without a negative article from the O? bastards.

Your paper is a joke Mike.

Gotta agree…to compare a proposed $400ish increased to a government buyout of investment banks is ridiculous

I wonder when McClatchy will be bought out by the feds? http://finance.google.com/finance?client=ob&q=NYSE:MNI

Too late, Observer. It’s gonna happen.

These are the kind of people that COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING. They think they can make a name for themselves by COMPLAINING ABOUT EVERYTHING.

It is like those people that go to city council meetings or planning board meetings and just bitch and moan for no reason.

Does the Charlotte Observer still try to sell newspaper subscriptions to students? If a $50/semester increment is too much of a financial burden, I would recommend that students cancel their newspaper subscriptions.

Why aren’t the student fees that go towards football at UNC-CH, UNC-Raleigh, and App mentioned in the football stories if these fees are so important. Other than using them as a reference for negative stories about Charlotte, they are never printed. Before you say “they’re not in Charlotte”, remember that you cover them more than you do Charlotte in every sport.

clt yawns at the o… is it still published?

Quoted for truth (and emphasis).

I know it’s all the same paper, but editorial staff is independent of newsroom. I was posting for informational purposes only.

Did Olson write a article also? Maybe a pro article…

I love ****in with this guy

He is always making arguments that are easy to rip apart. Anyone want to join in on the bashing?
Can we not go one day without a negative article from the O?
I don’t think we’ve had any of those negative mystery articles for about a month or 2. Why have they started reappearing. Someone is obviously afraid to sign their name for a reason.

It’s mentioned in the editorital. Since we are such a “young university” we can’t have football. UNC-CH can have their airport since they have been around longer.
