Is it just me, or do these light pole locations not looked planned, but more like where they could fit one now that the stadium is built? Like, when the stadium was designed, why would you plan to put a light pole base in the drive into the stadium field? It’s narrow enough as it is. Hope it doesn’t affect the light output or create shadows or make for poor aesthetics.
CLT has to be concerned about usable airspace for his Zeppelin now that lights will block some landing areas.
Amirite?
Being able to tie up to light poles in opposite corners should make it easier for clt to hover above the stadium. All he needs is some long rope.

These guys would put us in the shade in style. Tension fabric structures, been around a while, google it. Some terrible. I had good experience specifically with this company. They passed an impressive wind test. Another, oft-overlooked advantage of sun shades: If angled properly, they reflect noise downward and focus it on the playing surface.
I’d rather add a small 5,000 seat deck with a large sun shade on each side of the stadium than spend the same amount of money to go to 40k. I think overexpansion is a huge risk in this current landscape, and would love to become known as the “loudest little stadium in college football.”

Very true.
Yep. I’d be happy with 20,000-25,000 seats personally. In the even we need a little more than that, we can wheel in some temp seats for the endzone concourse.
If we have a bigger game than that, play it at BoA.
