Old HS player rankings

Does any body have access to or copies of old Bob Gibbons HS basketball player rankings? I can get rankings on Scout and Rivals but they only go back to 2002. What brought this up was trying to decide who was our highest consensus recruit since Henry Williams. First thoughts might be Iti and Rodney White. But I believe Iti was only ranked high by one service and Rodney was a fairly late developer and slipped through the cracks somewhat. My guess was Charles Hayward.

Iti was ranked as high as 6th in one publication and 9th in another, most had him in the 30s.

Scout had him ranked as 6th among centers and 30th over all. Rivals 7th among centers and 39th over all. ESPN was the only one I remembered ranking him higher than the other services. They had him at 1st among centers, but I don’t remember the over all rank.

In any case, he was the most heralded recruit we ever had, definitely the biggest bust in the program’s history.

ESPN had Iti ranked 8th overall.

Bump for lunch crowd, in case anybody has historical rankings. I would love to get access to Bob Gibbons rankings for the past 20 years.

On a side note, I saw where Scout had Brian Roberts of Dayton rated as 2 out of 5 stars coming out of HS! That’s the type of sleeper I hope we can find.

At the time Hayward was the highest recruit we had ever brought in I do know that.

Wasn’t Jobey like top 50?

That’s what I was thinking too. That across the different recruiting services he was consistently rated highly.

Jobey was ranked ~100-110 coming out of Independence HS.
