Glad we won. Loud crowd.
Davis took over. His dunks for a pg his height in traffic are nasty.

So depressed that I didn’t get to make it out to this game. Had to watch it from the house at a dinner party. Seemed like a great environment.
Very enjoyable. There was an actual home court advantage so far as the crowd goes. Refs made some strange calls as usual. They had no answer for Davis. Van Hook needs to control himself. Oregon State is going to be firing their coach. BO is in a real funk and needs to snap out of it for WF.
I know Oregon St is down but I want to savor this moment for bit. Halton was energetic and its been a while since its been that lively. We beat a P5 school and its been a long while since we’ve done that. We did it while having an off night shooting and won because of an active D and FT shooting while our starting center was out.
I’m happy :). That’s the most fun I’ve had at Halton in a while. Go Niners! Let’s make it 1-0 versus the ACC as well as the PAC XII Tuesday.

Still nice to get the win though, especially when the offense struggled so much.
If only the team had a 6’9 guy to help inside then things would really click. And to think Oregon State has 4 guys around that size and are just wasting them with terrible play. Just letting the niners dunk on them at will.

One of which was last year

D & FT shooting were KEY. Nice supportive crowd and that seemed to lift the team. Imagine that.
Seems like one of many exciting moments tonight. Wish I could have been there but Go NINERS anyway!
Feels great beating a P5 squad and last year we started 1-8 fast forward to this season we are now 6-2 lets see what we can do at Wake Forest on Tuesday night GO NINERS!
Great team effort. Davis and White were outstanding. Aube had some solid minutes filling in for Washington.
Garvin looked good again. Very impressive dunk that was waved off due to a questionable offensive foul.
BO had another rough night. He was put in the lineup in the last minute for FT purposes. He proceeded to brick two FT’s with 10 seconds left that would have iced the game. Very lucky OSU didn’t tie with a three at the end.
Despite playing a huge team, Bergang and Benas both never got off the bench. That doesn’t bode well for them the rest of the season.

Indeed. Too bad they called a charge. Otherwise… Teabags.
I can’t remember the last time we beat a P5 conference team in Halton. Even though Oregon St is a lower level PAC 12 team we should savor this monument because they don’t come often. Loudest crowd I can remember since Lutz. John Davis is the best guard I’ve ever seen at Charlotte (since 2001). We could see post season play if we play defense like we did tonight.
clt says p5 is a media creation.

i believe we are headed in the right direction. i think ajukwa will add a lot to this team. i dont know what our ceiling is this season. we arent a bad team, we arent a great team. i dont know where we fall. it depends game to game but im excited by our progression and the talent that we are building.
Charge on Najee was BS. Dude slid under him after Najee had already jumped. He bodied him. We beat a Power 5 without our starting center, and last seasons leadeing scorer having three points. Helluva win. Helluva game.
Go Niners. #BeatWake
Quentin Jackson was excellent defensively tonight. Locked down on their point guard. Offsense was still a struggle, that’s four games in a row where scoring had been an issue. But all of a sudden this team has become a team that can win ugly games.
Solid game. JD is so good. I hope we can get a big man to compliment his game. Jackson’s D was great to see. Most active and engaged Halton crowd that we have had in a longggggg time.
I’m still surprised that we are keeping size on the bench and not at least tying out Benas or B-Gang for a few minutes. Price said in post game he like Reid’s physicality. I guess that’s where Benas is struggling- just too soft.
Fun game. Glad we got the win over a not so great team, but still.
Glad we tried doubling the post and pressing. Also, glad we were getting their big involved in pick and rolls at the end. I think this team needs to play fast. Guys like Garvin, Davis, Andrien, and QJ thrive in the full court.
Thought the crowd really helped the team in 2nd half after some bizarre calls. Still worried that Beans and the Swede can’t even get on the court. If they are that bad we definitely have a ceiling. Was hoping they could get us a combined 15 quality mins a game which isn’t a lot to ask. This was the perfect time for them to play, but…
