From that I learned that Winthrop pays Gregg Marshall almost $225,000 annually. Also states that he turned down $475,000 per year from CofC. Hmmm…

When Gregg Marshall saw an opportunity to increase his annual salary by $1/4 million he jumped at the chance to take the job!

Then he backed out and decided against it. Obviously, his buddies essentially told him: “Dude! What are you thinking? You’re hot! An offer to coach at a big-time program will come soon for ya and you don’t want to sell yourself short!!”
