survey seems a bit arbitrary to me… I mean, yes, it does look at “core subjects” as defined by them. One could easily argue that while US Government is important to learn, you did learn about it in high school. College is about expansion of knowledge, why should you learn about the house of representatives again? Why not learn about other forms of government and globalization (as I did to fulfill my western civ gen ed requirement)?

Our U’s strength? You do realize the Alumni, Athletic, & Admin. Depts. suck at contacting people, as does Marketing at letting people know our school exists? Where do you get this “strength” from? :))

womp womp…

I’m not saying I support DNC on campus - but that journalist is obviously aiming to get readers and spark conflict.

I’m sure someone will be ultra-supportive of the article because its anti-phil (and thats fine), but the allegations regarding building (for our growing university and programs) and our budget (which is one of the better ones in the state considering our layoffs are minimal [second sidenote - LESS LAYOFS = MORE TEACHERS = BETTER EDUCATION]) are absolutely atrocious. Oh, and tuition? HELLO! ITS A PROBLEM THROUGHOUT THE STATE! COMPLAIN TO THE UNC SYSTEM.

Sorry, I had to get that off my chest.

Wow! Didn’t know this was in the works. Thank you.

Another reason why Charlotte is a great university.
