Ozzie at Knights

we need more of this in pro sports…Guillen hopped over the rail last night and walked into the stands to chat with Knights/Sox fans and sign autographs…pretty cool

Wow the Knights won? I’m surprised but I have a feeling I shouldn’t be.

How big of a deal is this that a farm team beat a top division team? This is just the kind thing that happens in baseball?

Its the end of spring training. A chance for the Triple-A guys to show their best stuff in front of a sellout crowd, chance for the MLB guys to get a little tune-up before the season starts. Peavy was on the mound throwing nothing but fastballs, you dont want to show off your pitches before the season starts. This kinda stuff is all about PR, getting fans out to the stadium so hopefully they’ll come back for some games this year.

And yes, this kind of stuff happens in baseball. That’s why you typically play 3-4 game series…lots of variables in a single game. The team that wins the series is usually the better team.
