Ecu is a different animal at home. The year Cincy was a number one seed, they only won by 6. Louisville has lost there. Marquette also lost their first year with Diener and Wade in Greenville.
I could tolerate this if ECU shot like VIllanova did last week against Kansas, but that clearly isn’t the case.
A little late for that…don’t you think…and ECU for the most part played like the crappy team they are…we just were lookin for a way to lose.First bad game for Eddie this year…tuf time to have one.
Yeah, we’re good for a couple of these per year. The first was Rutgers…but losign to ECU is worse than losing to Davidson or App. Well, maybe not that bad. WE’ve got to find a way to put teams away. Free-throws were obviously a problem again and all of a sudden, we can’t shoot the basketball.
Leemire and EJ played too many minutes, it’s hard to win when you play backups who aren’t getting the job done. If they were starters, at least it would be more understandable.
This is one of those games where I get really fed up with Bobby, because I don’t understand what he’s thinking. I also feel that 13-3 was cool, but 14-4 isn’t as acceptible. I don’t feel there are 4 teams on the schedule we could afford to lose too, but we can still recover.

Sorry, I can't compare this to Rutgers. The Knights were a much stronger team than ECU.
Rutgers = careless loss (poor FT shooting lost this game)
ECU = BAD loss (execution, or lack there of, lost this game)
I agree man, I am as critical of the program as they come.
But, this is something we can rebound from. We are not 13-16, we’re 14-3 and this team can beat Cincinnati. Hell the year we were 13-16 we beat Cincy.
This team showed me something vs TCU and Marquette that I’m not ready to ignore just yet. We still haven’t proven we’re good, we’ve not really beaten a quality opponent, but that doesn’t matter. If you just win, it will come together. I would rather lose now than in March.
I will add another “agreed” to that. It will be a lot more up-tempo style of game with mitch playing this time. Also, I think the Withers we all want is back! And he need some revenge from round 1.
We have a great trend of playing to our competition. We did that today. We played to their level and when you do that the winner is going to be determined by who gets a few breaks their way. ECU got several down the stretch and that was the ball game.
We shot awful but played pretty decent defense for most of the game I thought.
Like Lefty said, we’re good for 1 or 2 of these a year. ECU is a different team at home. Sincy only won by like 6 I think. We played bad, that’s just all there is to it.

Maybe because EJ just scored his career high, Nance had the flu, and Iti wasn’t effective. Mitchell obviously isn’t 100%. You guys are unbelievable with your flip-flop opinions of Bobby.

We made no shots in the final 6:41 of the game. If we had somehow managed to win, it would've been by luck. And yeah, Cincy only won by 6 after being up by 20 in the second half.
