PETA, at it again

Wow, just wow…

   :scared:

I wonder where they think all that milk is going to come from?!

only statement in this story that is not totally insane
“We applaud PETA’s novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother’s milk is best used for her child,” said a spokesperson for Ben and Jerry’s.
Saw this story last night & was going to post it, but I figured it was late and what I was reading was actually a typo.

PETA needs to go far, far away.
Using cow’s milk for your ice cream is a hazard to your customer’s health.

Why is PETA is only going after Ben & Jerry’s? Giving this logic, I expect them to be trying to ban milk everywhere.

I don’t know if this story was heard much in the States, but about a month back, a kid (early 20’s) was brutally killed while traveling to Winnipeg via a Greyhound bus. It was a huge deal and was something that everyone was very sensitive about…except PETA. Tthey ran and ad where they compared the killing of this guy to the killing of animals that we eat.

I certainly understand the point they were trying to make in this, but come on. They did a lot more harm than good when they went to that level.

we have some great minds on this board, please come up with some good flavors.

Yes and once again they attempt to prove that people should be lower on the food chain than animals. do you remember the kid that was mauled by a mountain lion in CA a few years back and the mountain lion ended up getting more random donations than the kid. Fruits and nuts man. I’ve known a few vegans in my time and I cannot stand them not because of their beliefs but the fact that they act superior and force their beliefs on you, much like evangelicals. I once knew a vegan who would chastize anglers for hurting fish, and then she told me about slaughterhouses whenever i ate meat, to which I countered, “look at cows and chickens, can you tell me they have any other purpose than to make eggs, milk and meat. They wouldn’t exactly roam free in the forest.” These peoples lack of essential vitamins and amino acids has made their minds feeble.

Raisin-flavored ice cream.

South Park fans should get it…

I don’t see what the big deal is.

Why are the People for the Eating of Tasty Animals upset about milk?

This in insane. Seriously.

Given the Ben and Jerry’s history of giving unique and often humerous names to their flavors, we’ll be forced to buy quart-sized containers of things like Titillating Tangerine and Double Fudge Nipple.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

There would be lines out the door to eat that ice cream!

Yummy, how appetizing.

very good.

I get the sense that thread could possibly be heading down a real Rocky Road.

this could open the door to the career move i have been looking for.

so i can i apply for the job of picking which people should donate breast milk for the ice cream? I will be thorough in examining where they make the milk…

How do I get the job as the milker? LOL.

haha I was actually just starting to wonder why this thread didn’t have an SCK reply. Glad to see I wasn’t let down!

I’m so glad I could please you Chisox17.

I think we all thought it, but felt uncomfortable.
