Does anyone else besides me wonder why we scheduled this game for election night?
Election Day is Tuesday the 2nd…
The game is on the 4th (according to the schedule that I have)
Both take place on the 2nd.
Why not have it on election day? Go vote early and get it out of the way. We voted a few days ago and get to miss all of the Actual Election Day crowds!
Man I can’t wait for next Tuesday - it will be the first time that I get to see my Niners in action since I missed MM due to a business trip.

[/b]It was scheduled for the 4th but they moved so not to conflict with the Bobcats home opener on the 4th. Not sure why the 2nd was chosen. BIG NIGHT!!! Long night if you want to stay up to see the election results.
That’s funny, the pocket schedule I have says the game is on THURSDAY, November 2ND. Maybe I’ll just go on Tuesday the 2nd and on Thursday the 4th.
Yeah… got to the library and vote early.
Tried to go yesterday but the line at the library was halfway into the parking lot. Doesn’t really bother me, I’ll be there. Just wondering why we’d do it, but it sounds like it wasn’t our first choice. Go Niners!!
Though I don’t think there will be any clear election results that night, I think a lot of people will opt to stay home and follow the coverage. Already hard enough to get fans out for an exhibition game when nothing is going on so there should be plenty of empty seats. I’m undecided about going at this point to be honest…will be a day-of decision for me after I get off work. As much as I love the Niners, we’re talking about a meaningless (in terms of standings/records) exhibition game versus one of the most important (and closest) presidential elections ever. Certainly nothing wrong with either option one chooses given the circumstances.
I’m glad I voted last week. Line was to the main door at the library on Rea Road but I was done voting in about 50 minutes. Gonna be nuts on Election day out at the polls. I recommend knocking it out this week if you have the time to spare.
I’m voting on Election Day, but I’m registered in some in-the-sticks precinct in Cabarrus County. I’ve never had to wait in a line to vote, and I suspect that this year will be no different. I’m gonna be on the phone throughout the game getting returns, though.
I cant wait for this game I played with a guy that plays for Pheifer in high school, will be good to see him again… but anyways hope to see the niners get off to a good start,
GO NINERS

Folks, it’s spelled Pfeiffer. Show some respect for our friends down the road in Misenheimer.
jcl, you’ve got to be kidding me?
atleast it’s only our first exhibition…definately a lot going on…2nd anniversary for me and mrs iam4uncc!!! hopefully i can make the first half!!!
I’m in the same boat as you TF. I think I’m getting in line around 5 or 6 AM. No joke. As for the coverage, whatever. Me watching the TV won’t influence the results. However, me watching the Niners will influence my mood.
Go Niners!

Next thing you know, ol' jcl will be comin' on here complaining about all the kids walking through his yard and all the noise they're makin'.

I didn’t say I wasn’t going to the game…just said I wasn’t sure. I’ve never missed an exhibition game but I’m not going to feel like my Niner fan card should be revoked if I choose to stay home on election night instead of watching us clobber Pfeiffer in a meaningless game. I’ll probably be there.
lefty who really cares how its spelled, you an english teacher now…
thought this was a message board not a spelling be… grow up
go niners
