Photo Shoppers Wanted!!!!

I think Gerald J. Ford Stadium (SMU) is one of the best 30,000 stadiums in the country and would love to have that sitting on the CRI Field by 2030. I especially like how the Football Center is in the corner and connected to the stadium and the luxury boxes.

Iā€™d love to see this is green and white, green and gold, green, white and gold, whatever combo the artist would like.

Bump for those with Photo Shop skills.

That is one sweet lookinā€™ stadium. Right up there with Akronā€™sā€¦Its amazing to me how large it looks, considering it only seats 32,000. I would kill just to know that we will have something similar within even the next 10-15 years.

One of the big things I like about this stadium is that itā€™s seating is 100% built by Southern Bleachers, and that it was built as a unit modularly. They got the stadium done for $42 million too!

Can you elaborate on this point a bit? How is that a good thing? I just don't know much about styles of construction.

Modular construction means the a great deal of the pieces were built offsite (cheaper) and that it was designed to be easily expanded. SMU needed seating in the endzone but we donā€™t right now. Our stadium is most likely being designed as a 40,000 seat facility and they will cut it down to 15,000, but weā€™ll have the plans to build out to 40,000 ready to go. Makes it a bit cheaper and faster.

Surely someone knows someone who can Photo Shop!

Iā€™ll get on it in the morning. Looks fun.

Excellent.

If I wasnā€™t busy as hell Iā€™d be all over it.

Hopefully Iā€™ll find some time over the weekend to tackle a version.

May I recommend using the birds eye view on Bing.com maps for some custom angles of the area on campus. If you come up short on good pictures of campus.

BBBBBBBBBBBBBUMP

well i was doing a quick photoshop on one of the photos you put upā€¦

UNCC 49ers in the endzone? :cuss:

Yea just threw somthing fastā€¦ not to sure what endzone pattern im wanting to doā€¦ ill update it again sometime this weekā€¦ but if anyone has any ideas for me to tack on let me know

Donā€™t let ā€œUNCCā€ anywhere near anything you do, thatā€™d be a good start.

wow, totally forgot about this. Iā€™ll finish up, I started them a couple weeks ago

Well I hate to be a party pooper but from the renderings it looks like our stadium will be more UCF and less SMU.

As for the SMU photoshop picture:

Might want to pick CUSA logos instead of A10. Not only does the A10 not sponsor football, but at 32,000 seats I doubt weā€™d still be at FCS level.

And yes, absolutely, positively NOTHING UNCC, UNC-C, UNC Charlotte. The only things you need to use are:

the C-Pick logo
"Charlotte"
ā€œ49ersā€
