I think Gerald J. Ford Stadium (SMU) is one of the best 30,000 stadiums in the country and would love to have that sitting on the CRI Field by 2030. I especially like how the Football Center is in the corner and connected to the stadium and the luxury boxes.

That is one sweet lookinā stadium. Right up there with Akronāsā¦Its amazing to me how large it looks, considering it only seats 32,000. I would kill just to know that we will have something similar within even the next 10-15 years.

One of the big things I like about this stadium is that itās seating is 100% built by Southern Bleachers, and that it was built as a unit modularly. They got the stadium done for $42 million too!

Can you elaborate on this point a bit? How is that a good thing? I just don't know much about styles of construction.

Modular construction means the a great deal of the pieces were built offsite (cheaper) and that it was designed to be easily expanded. SMU needed seating in the endzone but we donāt right now. Our stadium is most likely being designed as a 40,000 seat facility and they will cut it down to 15,000, but weāll have the plans to build out to 40,000 ready to go. Makes it a bit cheaper and faster.

May I recommend using the birds eye view on Bing.com maps for some custom angles of the area on campus. If you come up short on good pictures of campus.
