pigford

I know this is probably old news and it has already been said a thousand times but…
Is Pigford 100% not playing with us next year?!?
He could add a lil somethin off the bench if he was…

There is a 1000% probability that Pigford won’t be suiting up for the Niners this year.

You sure it's not a 10,000 % probability?

What about 2006-07?

Honest Abe would be a big time addition to our rotation. Hope to see him sportin the niner green next year!!! B)

I hope I can get my money back on the Pigford replica jersey that I ordered.

Lets focus on the Pigford positives, he did have the nastiest posterizing dunk in niner history. It got waved off due to a charge, but the guy ate his nutts so it was well worth it.

With all due respect, the late, great Chad Kinch still holds that distinction when he posterized Michigan's All-American Phil Hubbard during the 1977 NCAA tourney.

Amen to that run, although Kinch’s best dunk was in a scrimmage when he went over Maxwell with a leap starting at the foul line.

I agree 100 % on that. If I'm not mistaken, that dunk also sealed the win and Final 4 appearance for us.

Kinch drove the baseline and Hubbard was between him and the basket. No worries. Kinch just went up and over Hubbard.

http://www.league-ncr.com/library/history/heritage8.html

“Chad Kinch (1959?-1994) was a gay basketball player. He played college basketball for North Carolina-Charlotte, including an NCAA Final Four appearance in 1977. Kinch was a #1 draft pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers. At age 35 he died of AIDS.”

I had no idea.

I knew Kinch died of AIDS but didn’t know that he was gay, I thought he got AIDS from a medical procedure, didn’t Kinch have a son who played hoops in the NC area?

every post that edge9er starts turns out with a gay guy dying in the end!!

by the way pigford would not be much of a factor next year, i forgot all about him to be honest with ya!!

mazz you dont belong on the sports forum…you are the same person who thought that the bobcats center was named Prozac…

stick to what ur good at…playing basketball with ur inmantes and sally!!!

I had heard Chad got on drugs while in the NBA. I assumed he got AIDS from using an infected needle.

That dunk on Hubbard was the best. I used to go to Lanny’s on Albemarle Rd (it’s probably gone now) they had a pic of it - goosebump time.

RIP Chad.

I hope I can get my money back on the Pigford replica jersey that I ordered.
They offered me an even up trade for an Iti jersey.

Of course, I’ll have to add to “sh” in front of Iti’s name on my own.

Not what I like reading, but I didn’t any of this stuff 'bout Chad. Thanks for the info.

Check out this distinction for Chad. Look who’s right behind him.
