i’ve been a niner fan since before i snuck up on mk with a uc hat.
the niners being, by design of god, intriguing to watch as the underdog.
perpetually to uc; never to that other team with u…c…somethin.
wherever, the bearcats in basketball will always come first.
if i live long enough to make it that way, i look forward to seeing many good friends!
p.s. if northwestern or vandy make it to the games, they will take precedence.

trivia for you: UC football played its first bowl game in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, 1947.
They played what was then called Virginia Polytech, now just Virginia Tech. UC whipped 'em. My old man played for UC then, offense and defense.

Non unlike the gross example of media bias during the presidential election process, UNCCH gets tons of undue love out of the C.O. and out of Charlotte the city in general. Hell if Dean Smith crapped cookies he could but the Girl Scouts out of business. I hate to try and find a damn Charlotte score on the C.O. web page, normally no story and the score is buried behind Chapel Hill or Duke orState or Wake or Davidson or Appalachian. Very tired of this pecking order.
