Well, he may have worked really hard and in that case he deserves props. I just don’t know him, so he was probably working hard back in the beginning.

The Phillies are a for profit organization that manipulates your feelings of civil pride or nostalgia to do nothing more than increase the profit margin of their rich owners and athletes.
49er Football will make minimal profits but for a good cause. Your pride in being a Niner will be legitimate. Based on YOUR college experiences and all the good times you had with you college friends. Warm feelings from your younger days will be stoked by the fires of pride and joy that you will share with those friends as you watch YOUR NINERS take the field for PRIDE, not profit, for TEAM not self.
