Possibly Curt's last week...

I am surprised noone has made a topic or mentioned anything about curt… He has untill June 2 to withdraw his name from the draft or he is gone… Did noone know this? This week is the week we find out whether or not he will be playing for us this upcoming season or not… something to look forward to…

i’ve talked to him, he has told that he isn’t going so chew on that for a little

NBA Early Draft Entries

Never formally applied for the draft. Nothing to withdraw from.

It may be my warped sense of humor...but I think this may be the funniest post I have ever read. We have heartfelt passion and concern....about nothing that's real!!

No disrespect to GSpot, because I know you had good intensions but I can’t stop laughing.

I’m concerned too that the Easter Bunny is not going to make his rounds on November 12 this year!!

I’m more concerned about the possiblity of a tidal wave on my ocean front Summer home in Idaho!!

I know…I’m an @ss. It’s just funny to me.

The date for underclassmen to withdraw from the Draft is actually June 21 (One week before the Draft on June 28) and there are 78 TOTAL underclassmen declared (61 underclassmen & 12 International) for only 30 1st Round picks (1st Round is only round with guaranteed contracts).

I wouldn’t mess with those odds. 30 spots that 78 people (not counting the usual college seniors) competing for.

Curt never declared (he made a very wise choice).
All underclassmen still have roughly 3 weeks to make a final decision.

I would hope that many look at the numbers and pull back out themselves…or there will be a lot of disappointed, basketball playing, fry cooks available for a Bojangles draft later this year!.

I still don’t think anything is a sure thing. I commend G-spot for his post.

Plus, getting drafted in the second round is not bad despite no guaranteed contract, so to say there are 30 spots is inaccurate. Plus, many of those 78 (AKA Shavlik Randolph will withdraw so its fuzzy math.)

(I am saying all this under the assumption that Curt could still apply for the draft or however the process goes. Maybe today is too late to try to get in if you haven’t already. I don’t know the specifics of the draft rules, I’m assuming that its not too late)

A couple of things. First, why is this thread in the recruiting forum? Second, why this thread when CW did not declare?

BTW, the deadline to declare was May 14th.

BTW II, there are 108 underclassmen who have declared – 61 college players, 12 high school seniors, and 35 international players.

Guys I told to curt on a regular basis. I dont really talk to him about basketball… however some of my friends… which are reallly close to him talk to him… I really think that you all are overlooking this situation… Nothing is set in stone as of now…

Not trying to cause a stir but how can we be overlooking a situation of him removing his name from a draft he never declared for?

[/b][/quote] Not only a draft that he did not declare for, but for which the deadline passed over 2 weeks ago! GSpot, what am I missing here?

Look on the bright side. We keep Curt because he didn’t declare, & the people who don’t get drafted, get to eat yummy Bojangle’s food. LOL.

By the way did anyone save that St. Louis game. How many jr. PF has there been that have had games like that, what were his stats like 39 pts., 14 rebounds.

Probably the best Niner individual performance in the modern era.

I planned on declaring but missed the May 14th deadline…darnit. Can someone move this to another forum?

This should be moved to the “Please Delete” thread. This makes about as much sense as most of the stuff there.

If the deadline was May 14, then this is a dead issue.

I’m declaring for next year’s NBA draft.
What team wants a 30-year-old 5’10" banker that sucks at B-Ball?
