Previous Niner games on DVD/VHS

There have been several posts on here of people wanting/having some older Niners games so I thought I’d start a thread on them. I’ve actually got a decent collection of VHS/DVD’s but only started recording in '03-'04 (I think I have almost every game since then though).

If anybody has any tapes or DVD’s of games from before that season I’d [B]LOVE[/B] to get a copy of them. If their VHS I can convert them to DVD and get you a DVD copy as payment. Anybody with DVD copies from before that season I’d be willing to pay you for a copy.

Here’s the benefit to NinerNation - after I convert the rest of my VHS tapes and add some more from people that have old tapes on here I’d then be more than willing to start copying them for other Niner fans with any $$ you feel like giving towards a couple spindles of DVD’s and the rest to the upkeep of NinerNation.Net (I’ll let you know when we get to that point).

If anybody has a copy of any old games please PM me and I will later update this thread with all the games I have available.

I think this is a great idea. I just hope some people can go back to '99. I would love some games from 01,02 also.

I know I have the UAB-49ers game from the Sun Belt days. It was the final game (first time) on Independence and they game where Dinkins hit a jumper at the end to give UNCC the regular season title. Might still have a few other ones, will check though.

Yes. I remember driving back to High Point all hyped up and watched the replay of the game on HTS from midnight-2am.

I have the NCAA Tourney games from 96.

I have been looking for that game forever. I don’t have anything now except the Davidson game from this yr.

As has been discussed on other threads, neither of the Charlotte/Chapel Hill games (tourney or reg season) went to 2OT (both were 1 OT)!

I think I still have the last game in the Mineshaft, circa '92 or so, against East Tenn State. I’m a little reluctant to play it since the tape is like 15 years old.

I believe I also have the '01 CUSA championship game with Rodney White.

That Cincy game was sweet. It was cold camping out that night. Let me know how much to get a copy of that one.

I have a stupid question…(don’t act surprised, either!)

How do all of you have these games? Obviously if they were televised you could record them, but how do you get the rest of them?
