Price and Lambert in Raleigh

May 19th… Coaches Caravan II.

Awesome. Last year was really cool chatting face to face with head and assistant coaches. We need to grow this event, but the ratio of coaches to attendees was in our favor last year. I encourage anyone even outside Raleigh area to work this in their schedule.

Didn’t even realize they had something like this last year. Where do i sign up?

It’s a secret. This is all I’ve seen in my email… the Raleigh date seems to differ from the OP:

Coaches Caravan Tour Dates

The 49er Club will host the following evening Coaches Caravan events in the spring. More details will follow.

· April 8 – Uptown Charlotte

· April 28 – Hendrick Motorsports

· May 12 – DB’s Tavern in Ballantyne

· May 26 – The Luxury Box in Raleigh

May 26 is correct… was pushed back a week. All 4 are great opportunities to talk 1-on-1 with the coaches.

I recommend attending if you haven’t. I enjoyed the candor all three coaches spoke with.

The April 8th Uptown date appears to have been dropped. Register / pay here:

Didn’t go, but looks like a nicer setup than last year where everyone stood around in a big cage (no joke).

I love the picture. Price and Lambert looking like they wish Judy would shut up and Cara fully engaged.

Wait, an athletic director is on that stage? All I see are 3 coaches, and for some reason a retiree aged lady who just walked in from the beach and up onto the stage.

clt found out about this event just now.

Clt needs ti read the board… was posted on here multiple times over the past 2 months…

clt doesn’t read the posts on this chatboard. clt just comments on the chatboard.

I really don’t give a rip but some of you guys would criticize Judy Rose if she came up on stage with a Billion $$$ check from an angel like FedEx with Memphis.

Honestly, it’s old.

Yeah, yeah. “Like Judy” before one of clever guys post it…

If she did come up with a billion $$$ check, she would probably allocate most of it to women’s basketball.

we are ripping judy because she deserves it. because she doesn’t understand that women’s basketball does not make money like men’s basketball. because she has no idea how to market this program, or promote events. because she treats the hardcore fans like lepers. because she wants to treat our program like it is mayberry. her criticism is not just based on her hillbilly hairdo.

I will agree it is old. The criticisms of Judy are at times over the top, but the key here is that just about all of our challenges can be traced to her and her leadership. People on here used to say complaining about lack of football was stupid and that football was never going to happen. Look at what public pressure did. Judy needs to be held accountable for her lack of leadership in many areas and her decision making in other areas. I told her this - I will never apologize for expecting and wanting better for the school than what she is doing. We know the reality is Judy isn’t getting canned. She is going to be able to retire, in the next 3 to 4 years is my guess. The important thing then becomes keeping her mistakes in the air so that whoever she replaces can tackle them. The worst thing we as a fan base can be is a group that sits on their hands and says thank you. Mind you that is the kind of fans and alums both the AD and the school Admin would like. They would prefer you give money and keep your mouth shut and if they have to choose they would rather you not give them money if you are going to vocal. I can’t operate that way.

I agree with everything you just posted and I have no issue with the criticism of the job she has done or is doing.

But when people start talking about the way she looks, dresses, wears her hair, etc it’s just juvenile. Not that you did it but you’ve seen it too.
