What are the chances that Price gets Conference Coach of the Year? I would think he would at least get some votes after what he has been able to pull off this year with 3 freshman and playing 6 guys. We win the last two games and finish in top 6 I think.

I would think highly unlikely. I don’t have facts but would think no coach that finished 6th in a conference has ever won a coach of the year award.
D’Antonio will probably get it and he is certainly deserving of the honor.
I couldn’t be happier with Mark Price, but he is not COY this year. I think Dan D’antoni probably is. If we can somehow plug the hole that Uchebo is going to leave, and from a results perspective be at this level to begin the season, then Price will be well positioned to win it next year.
These are my thoughts. He deserves it after what he inherited and how well they’ve played lately, but a coach with a better record with get it.

He actually inherited a decent roster. Day 2 that roster was shit though.
clt says Lebo will win cusa and AAC coach of the year.

That’s what I meant. Day one the roster was good, but then the transfers started. He weathered the storm and I love the team we have now.
Price has done a phenomenal job, but it has to be D’antoni from Marshall.
