Many of the newbies on here don’t realize this, but we were very much in the hunt for Rondo. We are briefly mentioned in this story.

That was a great article ! thanks, says a lot about Lutz and his crew, they were awesome at talent evaluation. Time and time again, really good at identifying talent, and not so easy of a task. Ask 90% of the schools in the ACC about this, it is very very difficult, if you are not UNC/Duke and maybe Ga Tech (ie., can go after and land the HS players that can already suit up in NBA and bypass college hoops), you have to identify talent to be successful, and most of those schools do a very poor job of it.
I remember when we were recruiting him. Came pretty damn close with him from what I understand.
