I think Leon Washington has a big year.

I think Leon Washington has a big year.

Me too.

I like to get my RBs late, because with the 2 RB systems, only a couple RBs are going to put up monster points that you can’t get later in the draft.

Putting alot of stock in not carrying backups at QB. Hoping for a breakout RB on the bench to turn into trade bait for a QB.

Why so many TE’s?

Nice starting RB trio, though.

12 man league. Some asshole picked the Steelers D round 4 and Ravens D round 7. I hope he knows he can only start one of them. W/R/T Flex.

QBs: Tom Brady, Delhorrible
RBs: De Williams, Ronnie Brown, LenDale White, Julius Jones
WRs: TJ Houshmanzadeh, Braylon Edwards, Hines Ward, Devin Hester, Kevin Curtis (whoops)
TEs: Dustin Keller, Todd Heap
Defs: NE, Buffalo
Ks, Biornas, K Brown

I HATE fantasy football because I put more emotion into MY team doing well than my fantasy team. I can’t do the whole I hope Matt Ryan throws for 350 yrds against the Panthers, but the Panthers win thing. On top of that I can always pick a team I prefer to see win if I am watcing a game the Panthers are not in, so I don’t need the fantasy crap to make other games interesting to me. With all that said a friend at work talked me into joining his league.

I drafted with stipulations:

NO one from the NFC south, except the Panthers
Try to avoid players from the NFC East and AFC East

I ended up with:
STARTERS
Philip Rivers
(SD - QB)
Steve Smith
(Car - WR)
T.J. Houshmandzadeh
(Sea - WR)
Donald Driver
(GB - WR)
Thomas Jones
(NYJ - RB)
Rashard Mendenhall
(Pit - RB)
Visanthe Shiancoe
(Min - TE)
Laveranues Coles
(Cin - WR)
LenDale White
(Ten - RB)
John Kasay
Dallas Defense

BENCH
Bernard Berrian
(Min - WR)
Jonathan Stewart
(Car - RB)
Steve Breaston
(Ari - WR)
Anthony Fasano
(Mia - TE)
Chad Pennington
(Mia - QB)
Mike Goodson
(Car - RB)
(I had J. Stewart from Carolina but dropped him when his Achilles looks to keep him out for awhile)

LOL

We have a new guy in our league this year (we have had the same core for for 10 years now), he picked Chris Cooley in the 3rd rd (we have 1 keeper so it is really the 4th Rd), the silence was impressive… I had his team name changed to the Mutombo’s after the fact becasue I have never seen a reach like that in my life

3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE and W/T & W/R flex positions. I figured I would hold Celek on my bench in case he starts to do well. Some articles are picking him to do well as a starter this year. I had a decent starting line so I started to fill up my bye weeks. Extra TE allows for a WR injury. I always suck at picking WR’s.

In my draft which is live in person, this kid panicked because we were giving him a hard time because of the time limit on picks and he took Nate Keading…in the 7th Round.

Same kid shouts out Ryan Howard in the 12th round of the MLB draft like he is really available.

Gotta love the dopes.

Ah, gotcha. Plus may help in situational areas when Miller hits a tough matchup.

That’s alot of people you have to start for a 12 team league!

We must have had a guy completely drunk in our draft (he filled a last minute spot), he draft Vick in the first round.

No kidding. Once we hit 15th round, most picks are followed with a “Who?!?” once announced. Have to say, live draft rocks though! We bought software last year and it makes it pretty fun.
