I personally have no problem with that style of play. It’s not what I would consider good basketball but it seems to work for this team. What I don’t understand is why any player would choose to play for a team when the coach tells everyone on the team to only let one person shoot.

I can’t imagine this system working in a game between two D-I opponents. A decent team will make you pay for only playing 4 players on defense.

“Last night’s game counted as an exhibition for Faith Baptist, but was somehow a regular season game for Grinnell.”

ECU does this with their DII opponents. Games count for ECU, but are exhibition for others.

I could be wrong but didn’t it say they only do this for one game against their worst opponent?

I don’t have a problem with it, if anything the other team should be embarrassed they can’t keep one player from scoring. Opponent must really really really terrible. Like the Heat playing Monmouth terrible.

I think there is a sub section in the NCAA rule book that allows this for Mickey Mouse programs.

Next game: 3 pts on 0-5 fg

Pull the offer!!! PULL THE OFFER! :stuck_out_tongue:

Had to look for some video of this kid, which turned up the entire game where he scored 138 points last season. It’s one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe it is even collegiate level basketball. It looks like me and my friends entered a church league.

clt is shocked that Jordan would support this school, considering they are best known for an egomaniac.
