Strengths:
He’s a team guy. Dillard gets it on the defensive side of the ball and carved out a niche for himself as a lockdown. On the offensive side, he’s a guy who is a good slashing style player. His body will be college ready and he’s got a history of playing on succesful teams. Weaknesses:
His jumpshot is sporadic. Dillard is more than capable of going on runs from the perimeter but he doesn’t have it to the point where he’s confident enough to be a major threat. Needs to work on his handle and become an equal opportunity driver from both sides of the floor. Bottom Line:
He’s a character kid who values winning and has been raised to battle through adversity. He’s a strong mid-major prospect who will receive lots of offers from the CAA and A10 with a chance to play his way into a higher level offer. He’s from one of the traditional powers in the state of North Carolina and will finish his career as a three-time Carolina Challenge camper.
• Reggie Dillard (Greensboro, N.C./ Dudley Senior) is someone who always gives his all. He also won the one-on-one competition on the last day. He says VCU and Charlotte lead for him, but Vanderbilt and Clemson are calling.
This is one is hard to figure out, he says a month ago we are in the lead for him but on his Rivals page it says we haven’t even offered, I guess it’s a one way interest.
Dillard listed offers from VCU, Tulane and Charlotte to go along with interest fromVanderbilt and Tennessee. Right now VCU is his favorite and Vanderbilt is number two, but if Kevin Stallings and Co. decide to offer, Dillard said the two would be tied atop his list.

So I guess we backed off, or decided to make someone else the top priority.
i saw him play at the mlk classic. positives-he has a college ready body. he is a good athlete(had a few dunks), plays hard defensively and does all the little things. pretty good ball handler. can hit a three if need be. smart player. negatives. not a great three point shooter. i would recruit him if we had a lot of scholarships to fill but he doesn’t fill an immediate need.
