No turnovers and just one foul.
Just gotta wonder how many points he gave up. The Nuggets did lose…

Maybe Kiki read our posts and is showcasing him for a trade.
Hey, if Plav can hit a three with 0.7 seconds remaining then I can dream about Rodney getting in a better situation.
Jees, he led them in FG attempts by a mile. 8-20 isn’t good.

Name players put up nights like that and make sportscenter. Most obvious ex is Jordan who would go 12-35 and have all commentators just gush over him for scoring 30. No, Rodney isn't in the same league with any marquee players yet, but could make a name for himself if given the chance and the right situation.

[/b]Give the guy a break. 8 for 20 is not great but it's not the world's worst either. For him to play more than 30 minutes and only have one TO, that's impressive to me. The guy left early. He can't come back now. It only helps our program for him to succeed.

Not at all, but it’s pretty much what Anthony shoots in the games he has played (41% for the year). Iverson is shooting 41.6% from the field this year, and he is supposedly awesome. These coaches need to make up their minds what is good and what isn’t. Rodney can clearly put up similar numbers with the “stars” given the PT. Does the NBA even care about FG% anymore?

Sometimes players have bad shooting nights. Even good ones.
But a lot of people view a missed shot the same way as a turnover… a give to the other team. He committed 0 turnovers. His 8-20 is more valueable than 10-20 with 4 turnovers.
It’s all about the game, not one microcosm.
Anthony and Kenyon Martin were out. Rod gets 30 minutes, 7-12 for 17. He was 2-2 from 3.
Scored 17 points along with 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 foul, 1 steal & 1 TO in 30 minutes. 1-2 from the freethrow line.
1 rebound in 30 minutes??? Come on Rod, Boykins had 1 rebound in 16 minutes and he’s 5’5!!
Iverson is shooting 41%?! Thats a career year for him! Usually his box score reads 12-36, on a good night.
One other thing to add. Rodney finally hot some big shots down the stretch:
Hopefully, he’ll get more consistent minutes and a larger role now that Bzdelik’s gone.
maybe this helps rodney out?
