We have an opening in a long-standing roto baseball league (21 years), and we’re looking for one owner to participate long term.
Here are some details on the league:
– 10 teams
– NL-only format
– 5x5 (new for this year; AVG, HR, RBI, SB, R; ERA, WHIP, SV, W, K)
– 23-man rosters with limited transactions
– Players may only be replaced if they are placed on the DL or sent to Minors
– Auction draft with $260 cap
– Minor league system and draft
We are looking for a team owner this week, as we have an expansion draft for the two new owners. Each of these owners would be able to select players from the attached draft sheet, up to 15 players. There will also be unprotected players who will also be available to draft.
The draft dates have been narrowed down to 3/30 or 3/31 in Charlotte, probably at Sports Page Deli & Spirits off of Bellhaven Blvd.
Entry fee is approximately $125, which includes a league site fee (housed on CBS Sportsline).
