Bought my first paper of the season. If they keep this up (and the Niners keep it up), I may have to re-subscribe.

So, I take it that the CUSA preview is in Saturday’s paper while the acc preview is in the SUNDAY paper. That’s not exactly what I call EQUAL coverage, is it Mike?

[/b]C49er, the point is the Sunday paper probably has 2 or 3 times more exposure than the Saturday paper. The Observer's duty is to promote the ACC. That's why they are in the Sunday paper and we are in the Saturday paper. This is nothing new. The Observer has been promoting the ACC for years.
Our overdue increased coverage is great but we need some prime time stuff too. Maybe Mike will come through for us.

Personally, I liked having Saturday all to ourselves. Curtis was front page, big color. The college basketball/ACC preview was on the back side of the College Football insert.
Thanks Lefty. I did not know that. I was out of town & unable to purchase the Observer. Perhaps I am still basing some analogies on previous seasons. We’ll see how the season goes.
