There will be another football scrimmage this Saturday, I am assuming at the same time of last weeks festivities. Little information is available.
Who is heading out this weekend??
Tailgate in Lot 23 at 10:30?

I have heard that this scrimmage will not be in the stadium this week. Anyone else hear this?
No Scrimmage this week - the team will be practicing on the practice fields ONLY. Athletics is planning a larger, publicized event for the following Saturday.
Yeah got an email about it today. Includes tour of the Football Center for FSL owners. See:

Donât know what you mods did to this site, but itâs pretty funky now, and not in a good way. Jusâ sayinâ.
I love the new look. Like anything new, maybe itâll just take you a little while to get used to. Mac deserves all the credit in the world for giving us NN.N.
I have heard conflicting answers on this. This morning David Scott tweeted:
@davidscott14 #Charlotte49ers football team will again scrimmage in stadium Saturday at 12:30.
The cam shows they are in the stadium. Why are we getting all these conflicting reports? Sucks to see the stadium empty and me not there because of communication. I also have to add that David Scott sucks when I am in a thread where his name is mentioned.
It was a perfect day for football at McColl-Richardson Field!!
A little more offense today. Alan Barnwell with 3 rushing TDs, onme was at least a 40 yd run. Jaquil Capel with 2 receiving TDs. On was a short pas with a great run after the catch. The other was a deep pass from Johnson that defelcted off 1 receiver and Capel came down with it.
Defense had some bright spots too. Several 3 and outs. One fumble recovery, and 2 INTs. INTs by Micah Bryan and Kendal Parker.
INTs and turnovers in general are weird to gauge on offense and defense in a inter-squad game. Just sayin. Canât wait till we play another team and see how we really are.

Thatâs odd. I didnât get an email but have 2 FSLs. Do you know if they will allow 1 person per FSL you bought or will it just be the owner of the group of seats?

Donât know. Iâd assume whatever your FSL total # is, is the number of people that can tour on your account.
The email came from âMail Newsâ, address: mail@neulionnetwork.com
I am guessing here, but it looked like the 1st team offense was going against 2nd team defense and 2nd team offense was going against 1st team defense, for the most part. That would explain all of the TDâs being scored in 1 endzone. Both picks were from what would appear to be 1st team D since they were heading the same direction.
Matt Johnson got the work with 1st team, Lee McNeill got work with the second team. Karsten Miller got a few reps on both sides of the scrimmage.
WR Corey Nesmith and CB Tank Norman were receiving punts during punt drills.
One other note from Saturday: Jaquil Capel was the very last player on the field after practice doing drills with one of the coaches. He is the leader in the club house for my favorite 49er Football player so far.
