Saturday's scheduled Scrimmage (11/3/)

Ummmm it is official
So official that there still has been no press release, still nothing on the official website. I wonder why no one will show up?
Theyā€™re characterizing it as ā€œjust practiceā€ now. http://twitter.com/Charlotte49ers/status/263804578858950656
Not a game, we talkin about Practice??

NNN is the official website

If the family schedule permits it, weā€™re hoping to make a trip to Charlotte Saturday just for this. No johns? I can hold it. The 3 year old twins? Not so certain.

Anyway, Iā€™m just happy to have a football home!

The rest rooms at the Hayes should be open at least. Not too far from the Fieldhouse.

I know where the buildings are, but it might take 15-20 min. to leave the FB stadium & come back.

Im just afraid Iā€™ll pee my pants in delight upon stepping inside.

But Iā€™m sure thatā€™d be cool too.

So are there any details for Saturday? such as:

Tailgating allowed?
Where to park?
How long will it last?
Any details would be helpful, I am planning to bring a few people who have never been to campus before

Thanks

Good questions. It looks like the University does not want to make this anything ā€œofficialā€, so they are not advertising it.

I plan to just show up, park as close as I can, set up a mini tailgate, and then head into the stadium. What time will folks be out there?? I am flexible.

If you tailgate, donā€™t drink anything. No restrooms.

What are you? A woman? Find a bush! lol

j/k SCK.

Iā€™ll be there to check out the stadium for the first time. Iā€™ll probably get there about noonish and explore a bit before checking out the team. Maybe Iā€™ll try to get some autographes!

FYI: this event will also be on campus tomorrow. http://www.manyjourneys.org/

The purpose of this message was to make you aware of crowd or parking issues. NOT to open up the floor for some of you racists out there to start your pathetic jokes and rants.

I donā€™t mind the bush. I mind the cop with handcuffs for public urination.

49er1 youā€™re saying there might be 5 cars in our way? Will they take my bets? I want to bet on the Field as 5 1/2 point favorites over our team.

I was planning to be out around 10. Donā€™t know what you have going on NWA. I hope this is a pretty good sized tailgate. Itā€™s really the first chance weā€™ve got at a real football tailgate.

Here is some info on it.

Lambert said his team is excited about playing in front of a crowd, even if it is just a scrimmage. ā€œI just hope some people show up,ā€ he said.

Heā€™s apparently not used to ā€œStealth ADā€ yetā€¦

Spoken like the village idiot. I have found that people who spew baseless accusations of racism are often very much like the first person in a crowd that asks ā€œWho farted?ā€

This is about our team and I am proud of them. I canā€™t wait to see and hear their helmets crack for the first time in the house that we and future students all built.
