The stadium has passed inspection and has been turned over officially. Iām guessing there will be an announcement soon, but would rather they hold off until next weekend to get more advertising for teh scrimmage.
The Charlotte 49ersā football stadium passed inspection Wednesday and was officially turned over to the school.
That means the 49ersā football team will hold a scrimmage in the stadium Saturday beginning at 12:30 p.m. Remember, concession stands and restrooms are not ready yet, so plan accordingly.
The 49ers will also practice in the stadium on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m.

In all seriousness, an open scrimmage to the public with not even a porta potty is pretty cheap. Wish they wouldnāt even announce the scrimmage except for hardcore nnn fans like ourselves. They are building tow home behind my place and they even have a port a jon. No room in the budget, I blame lutz
When are we going to get the official word about this scrimmage?? Itās the end of the business day on Wednesday, so we MIGHT announce it tomorrow. That will give folks 2 days notice.
