Scholarships for next year

Does anyone know how many scholarships are available, or is that a moving target with players possibly leaving? So I guess the question is, approximately how many scholarships are available for next year?

So I guess the question is, approximately how many scholarships are available for next year?
Moving target right now, depends on what Woods and Dorn decide to do.

Right now we know we’ll have Jon Davis, Braxton, Sullivan, Hydra (Blakley), Benny and Beans (AU transfer). That theoretically leaves 7 open right now.

Is it strange that we are not hearing about visits they may be taking? We seem to know every move Izundu or Kirk are taking. I cannot believe Woods and Dorn are not getting interest from other schools so why do you think we are not hearing more about it, especially in the age of Twitter?

Leads me to believe they are on the fence of staying or going.

Twice as many as we will offer

Twice as many as will offer
So far the staff is not taking a shotgun approach with offers for 2015 kids.

Good strategy IMO

Good strategy IMO
Agreed, remember we’re recruiting Dorn and Woods too. In addition to Davis who signed, along with Kirk, Izundu and a few others.

There is information on verbal commits that said their releases state they cannot speak to other schools until the spring semester is over. That did not apply to Big Mike. Trust me if they were free to speak to other schools and visit they would be all over them.

And I meant that the schools would be all over woods and Dorn. Not trying to say Dorn and woods are desperate to leave.

It still blows my mind the kids wanting to play for Major who’s results were terrible but not for a coach who was a proven winner on the court.

it will be very interesting where everybody lands if Woods and Dorn both stay and who we can recruit cause the signing day period ends by May 20th and also im glad that Clayton is gone I loved his hustle for rebounds and toughness inside but he couldnt make a free throw for beans plus he missed so many shots right at the rim

I’m not holding my breath in those two

When they committed to major he had just came off of a 21-12 season and he made it to the nit. They new him for 2 or 3 years. We are asking them to commit to Price who has a 0-0 record and they’ve known him for 4 weeks. The only one who chose not to ply for price is Dorn. Woods asked for his release before price came.
