Does any one know if there are plans to honor Eddie other than the ususal Senior Day stuff? I think something should be done for him. This kid has more heart than anyone I have seen play for the 49ers in the 15 years since I have been going to the games. He has gone from being a nice role player to someone who can dominate a game a number of different ways (defense, scoring, rebounding). I for one would like to see #13 up on the wall with the others.
We will honor his jersey at a game next season i bet after he gets CUSA POY. Hopefully the season after that we retire Withers #3 for National POY.
Don’t forget Plav and Sager. It’s their day too. Can’t wait for Saturday. Go Niners!!!
Yes big day for Eddie and PLav and Sager.
Plav sure can make some big shots, and then some bad ones as well.
Eddie is one of the best we have ever had play in a niner uniform, and I have been following them since the early 70’s.
I’m going to miss Plav also. He really started to get it going with the students during conference play, and hit some big big shots.
I’ve already started crying…

Yep, I’m definitely going to miss Eddie, but Plavich too - if only for his sheer range. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen him throw up a 20,000 footer and think “@#^% Plav, what are you doing?” only to see it hit nothing but net. A guy with that kind of range really, really opens things up. And the sad thing is, we won’t see him play anywhere else really, because once you get out of college, the attitudes are too selfish to allow Plavich to have as much freedom as he does to shoot.

this is DEFINITELY GOING TO BE ONE OF THOSE DAYS!
As for Plav, there are many games (Indiana, Cincinnati at home) that we DON’T win if not for his cold steely eyed shooting!
