Seth Curry - 2008 SG

Yes, he’s one of those Curry’s… Stephon’s younger brother.
Since the topic of missing on Stephon is so popular, I figured I’d add his profile.

I’ve seen this kid play many many times - and im honestly not that impressed. He’s a decent player over all, but he forces the ball often - and thats the one thing that drives me absolutely insane

also - does anyone know how a player gets on scout.com or rivals.com? I’m asking because my younger brother is a 6’7 jr who’s been posting multiple double doubles, sometimes tripple doubles, and has been getting intrest from small colleges during his aau season. If you get on through your coach, then I we might have a problem becasue I do not forsee his coach being “plugged in” if you know what i mean. If anyone can tell me how that stuff works i would greatly appreciate it

If you honestly think he has potential, you can contact the assistant coaches and also have him fill the online questionnaire on charlotte49ers.com

You can find it here: http://charlotte49ers.cstv.com/ot/prospective.html

Read the page over carefully.

As for rivals and scout, you have to contact the guys in the know like Jerey Meyer and Justin Young. They’re the two bigwigs on hoops recruiting.

You can get him on scout or rivals.com by sending them video since they don’t have that video yet. It would also be wise to send the colleges interested in and ones that have been out to see him a copy of that video. It can be game film or just go to a court and tape him through some shooting drills, ball handling etc. Remember on the Curry’s , Dell, Stephen, they are late bloomers. I’d keep an eye on this one.

okay cool thanks a lot guys - he’s really interested in charlotte - and we’r sending him to the camp this summer just to get out in front of some people. I wasnt sure about that athletic intrest form on the website, whether it was necessarily a good thing or not - but i’ll definately have him fill it out

thanks again

and your probably right about seth - i dont want anyone to get me wrong, he’s got a shot and he can move, its just i saw a lot of forcing, not enough “team ball” - but thats something i typically look for anyway - and that could have changed since last time i saw him play

What is Seth Curry, a junior? He has guys D1 guys on his team like Pitts. Seth Curry will be a good scorer like his brother.

This brings up the common argument of does scoring win games, or does team playing? Not that seth cant or wont be both - I’m just opening that for possible discussion

Scoring from the other Curry sure hasn’t hurt Davidson. I’ll just take anyone who can knock down shots and/or take it to the whole. I don’t particularly like the idea of taking contested 3’s. With good ball movement, and an inside-out game, the team should always get at least an open look before the 35 seconds of the shot clock is up.

haha - actually i would probably do anything to get rid of the constant 3’s - i like the post

but yeah i know what your saying
