Great get for our coaching staff on many levels. Top 150, local, beat out ACC schools, any one of those three would be great for our program, all three in one player is amazing.

This is a HUGE pickup! Kid looks like a beast, AND we beat out Clemson for him! It is SOOOO nice to beat out Clemson for one other these kids who lists us and them among his top schools. I remember when we WHOOPED UP on Clemson at Little John, like half their team were Charlotte/Clemson recruits who made the wrong choice. Glad to see Shawn is smarter.

It did sound like earlier that if Clemson offered, he goes there. Wonder if that’s still the case.
If he does sign at Charlotte, this is a very encouraging sign. I remember a number of folks worrying that last year would kill recruiting for the foreseeable future, and Major would not be able to bring anyone new in after his first class. If Clayton also decides to pick Charlotte (we’ll see), that’d pretty much end that discussion.
Lester looks like another fairly complete offensive player, with deep range and athleticism, as much as you can tell that in high school play. He’s also another guy with appropriate size for his position. Really hope Lester keeps his commitment.
Major is having an in-home visit with Lester, per ESPN. Today is the first day coaches can get back out on the trail.
