I say we should pull for louiville. If memphis wins, it really does not help us at all as we would still finish second if we don’t beat louiville. The only way to finish first is to beat the cards.
Louisville for sure…I don’t want to play the Cards coming off a loss, especially in their house.
We hafta beat Louisville no matter what, so screw the Tigers. Screw the Tigers! Screw the Tigers! No matter how much my drunk friend makes me listen to Wilco, screw the Tigers! :headbang:
There is no way I’m pulling for Memphis in any sport. If anybody has seen their little message board, then you wouldn’t want anything but the worse for them.

With their whiney ass fans and coaches, there is no way I could ever pull for them!
After watching the game over last night, I understand why their fans are in such an uproar. If our coach acted like a clown on the sidelines and contested EVERY whitle that went against us, then I might begin to BELI EVE that we were getting ripped off. Not the fact that they shot 39.4% the second half and especially not the fact that they couldn’t get a rebound from Mitch’s FT miss when Eddie was the only Niner lined up against 4, yes FOUR, Tiger High players.
See this thread regarding the same subject:
If UL loses to Memphis and DePaul on the road, we can still finish in first outright provided that we lose only to UL. I don't want to win it that way, but it is possible that we can lose to UL and still win the regular season title.
Yeah your right X but expecting Louy to lose double their total in their last 3 games is not very probable.More probable than most think. Memphis beat UL by 19 @UL, and DePaul has not lost a CUSA game at home (which includes a 19 point drubbing of Cincy). UL will have their hands full in their last three.
I want to beat UL as bad as anybody and not back our way into the title, but Memphis beating them still gives us some insurance in case we don’t. Of course, DePaul would have to beat them next weekend, but that’s certainly possible.
I’m pulling for Louisville over Memphis. That will make our win in Louisville that much sweeter.
Gotta go with Louisville. Want this conference championship straight up.

I think it would terrific to go into UL playing for the conference championship. We win it's ours and so is the number 1 seed in the conference tourney no matter what happens at So. Fl.
Plus, Memphidiots don’t deserve to win. They are a classless bunch of tool bags who deserve nothing more than a one and done in the NIT.

Some of them actually think Eddie went “over the back”.
I hope L-ville plays their best game of the year and kills Memphis. I want the C-USA title outright.
I’m in the “be carefull what you wish for” camp. I don’t want to leave anything to chance.
A year from now, nobody but us will remember whether we won it outright or had a little help along the way.
I’m not going to root FOR anybody. I’ll just root against Louisville a little harder than Memphis.
I’m pulling for Louisville. For the sake of the conference I want their only loss to be to us. I’m all for another team in conference having a good ranking and good tourney seed.
